Orions Star quilt!
Custom quilt made and finally finsihed 2/2012. Orions Star from Eleanor Burns pattern. It is hanging sideways since it is so big. Made extra large 96" x 104 for a queen with a deep mattress.
He Loves Me He Loves Me Not
This one was called "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" due to the daisies dropping petals on the othside border. This was my first applique, and was machine appliqued. It has been sold! Think I need another one of these! One of my favorites...
Shiner Quilt Guild Raffle Quilt 2012
CRAZY CABINS quilt.. This is our "Opportunity Quilt" for our raffle for our Shiner Heritage Quilt guild this year. Raffle will be in March 2012. I hope to have a better picture to pur up soon but for now this one was taken on a very windy day in our park here in Shiner. We were very blessed to have over 100 log cabin blocks donated to us this year by a friend of mine Cece from Edna Texas. The guild had voted to do a circle quilt this year, and when we got together to work on it we wanted to use the blocks...the only thing we could figure to do is cut circles out to utilize the blocks. The scraps from the blocks made a "crazy quilt" type border which finished of the quilt beautifully. It is a king size 110" x 120" quilt and it is machine quilted with a beautiful pattern. I tried to get a closeup to show the quilting better. See the other pictures... If you are interested in raffle tickets please contact me through my contact page. Thanks for looking!
Rene's Version of Texas Cabins
May 2012, still to be quilted. Beautiful colors! She is making this for her brother! Lucky guy!!!
Diannes Pump Jack wall hanger...
PumpJack Pattern made for a friend. Lot of small cutouts! But turned out pretty!
Sept 2012, Jennie's Surrey
My friend Jennie from Cuero and her Surrey. I made 2 Texas Cabins for the seats to cover thier legs in the cold. Jennie is holding the quilt though you can not see her in the picture...I made the quilts with double batting to make sure the wind did not go through the quilt! Should be nice and warm!!
Texas A&M Quilt 11-2012
Texas A&M Quilt completed for a customer. This was a challenge but I think it turned out great!
One of the T-Shirt Quilts I have made...10-2012
All of these T-shirts were music related so I used musical staff and notes for quilting.
